All Seasons are a brand you’ve likely not heard of, they’re a UK firm who have designed and configured their own electrical bikes and had them manufactured in China. On seeing the bike and the specification the first thing that struck me was the quality of components used and the comparative value for money of the All Seasons E-xplorer versus other entry level ebikes. You get an awful lot of kit for your money.
The real draw of the E-xplorer is it’s core components:
FRAME: 650B ALLOY 6061 MTB E-BIKE
BRAKES：MECHANICAL DISC BRAKE
GEAR: DNP 8S 13-32T
MOTOR： 8FUN SWX08 DC36V250W
BATTERY：SAMSUNG CELL LI-ION DC36V10.4AH
DISPLAY: KING-METER J-LCD
The 24 speed Shimano gears mean this bike can be used as a standard Mountain Bike, and then utilising the PAS system, some extra help added in from the electrical motor when required. Mechanical disc brakes and Kendo tyres ensure the bike has capable off-road ability. But this ebike will certainly suffice as a commuting bike or leisure bike as well.
What about performance and usability? Well with the 36V battery means you should achieve around 50 miles from one charge which should be fine for most people, and is more than the industry standard of around 30-40miles.
MAX SPEED: ≤25km/h
MAX RIDING DISTANCE: PAS≥50 miles
CHARGING TIME: 5-6 HOURS
All in all this is a very good all-rounder electric bike, providing excellent value for money. The E-xplorer is competitive in the market on weight at 22kg which puts this bike in the middle of the class for electric mountain bikes and better than some more expensive models.
The bike is available in Black and Silver.
